I tend to differ with the point that bitcoin is like the internet in 1992. At first, it was an epiphany but looking deeper it isn't.

The origins of bitcoins are not clean. It lacks its innocence. You can't compare it with AI in 2005, semantic web in 2020, or IoT in 2016.

At the same time, the argument that blockchain is like the internet in 1992 can be agreeable. So it's not about the product but the technology.
