I completely relate. From time to time my friends ask me why am I so silent. This occurs mostly when we are meeting new friends or there are new faces that I am not used to.

Have never been able to answer them directly. Most of the time I just tell them I don't know or shrug it off. Here is the answer though, " I enjoy it ". It just gives me so much peace. It just feels so good.
