It's just sad to imagine putting in the hours and getting nothing out of it because of your location, it doesn't feel right.

The way I see it, Neither is medium the problem nor stripe. The problem is government laws and processes required for a company to operate in a new region. I think stripe is trying by expanding into new locations.
